Independent barber in Paris

I am not part of any chain, any franchise, any group. I work alone. My time is not optimised by a scheduling software and I do not bill by the minute. For men looking for an artisan, not an industrial salon, and who want to find the same person session after session.

Why choose an independent barber

  • Always the same person

No rotation of apprentices, no turnover. At every appointment, I am the one who receives you, who knows your hair history and who adjusts to your evolution.

  • The time to do it right

No session is rushed. I take the time for diagnosis, communication, precise gesture. If a cut needs 5 extra minutes, it has them.

  • Full honesty

I tell you if a cut does not suit you, if a product is not useful, if a maintenance frequency is excessive. No revenue target to push, no commercial pressure.

  • Artisan discretion

Total confidentiality on your identity, your story and your appointments. No marketing communication on identified clients, never a photo without agreement.

What this independence concretely changes

Working without a chain or franchise is not a marketing argument. It is a way of practising that changes every detail.

No corporate aftercare

If a cut does not work, you tell me directly, I correct without procedure. The relationship is direct, like with any artisan.

Free product selection

No exclusive brand contract. Products are chosen for their quality and efficacy, not because they are imposed by a central purchasing office.

Transparent pricing

No "stylist tier 2" pricing, no hidden surcharge. The grid is clear, displayed, identical for everyone, with no opportunistic commercial policy.

Maximum flexibility

Evening slot, urgency before travel, home service, hotel intervention : I adapt without having to consult an organisation.

How we work together

The first contact sets the foundations. Then, regularity does the rest.

  1. 1

    First exchange

You contact me by WhatsApp or email. We discuss your hair type, your style, your maintenance rhythm and the context (studio, home, hotel).

  2. 2

    First session

Complete diagnosis, argued proposal, cut and finishing. I explain each gesture and each piece of advice. Duration : 1h to 1h30.

  3. 3

    Rhythm and loyalty

Most of my clients return every 4 to 6 weeks. I offer you a recurring slot or a one-off reminder, according to your preferences.

  4. 4

    Evolution over time

Style evolves, age changes the texture, professional constraints shift. I am here to adapt and advise, session after session.

Frequently asked questions

What really distinguishes an independent barber from a chain ?
Three things : the same person at every appointment, the absence of imposed commercial objectives, and total freedom in the choice of products and techniques. Concretely : an artisan vs an organisation.
Are you more expensive than a chain ?
On the face price, I am slightly above a classic chain, but below luxury salons. However, the duration and quality of advice are incomparable. My regular clients often save in the long run (fewer appointments, better hold).
Do you work alone or do you have a team ?
I work alone, that is precisely the meaning of my positioning. No assistant, no apprentice. You always deal with me, from the first message to the end of the session.
How can I be sure I can rely on you over time ?
I have been practising in Paris for over ten years, the studio rue de Bourgogne is my stable address, and the loyalty of my regular clients (some for eight years) is my best answer.
